I am using Microsoft word to print these documents, with the page size set to a custom 3x5 and with the printer setting to scale the scale the document down to fit the 3x5 size. I've tried numberous times and am not able to get this to work. However, we also need to be able to print on 3x5 index cards. My office uses it for printing plain paper, which works fine. I recently bought the C400DN printer to replace an old Epson printer.
